Circular design starts with insights into the sustainability metrics of production materials and packaging. Including these metrics in the materials management data system provides design, production and sales teams with easy access to this critical information. Sierra SBC has deep knowledge of SAP ERP data and the data values needed for circular design, production, delivery and re-circling. Plus, we have 15 years of experience implementing calculation and reporting solutions for global Extended Producer Responsibility compliance.

We provide implementation services for SAP® Responsible Design and Production and SAP® Green Token. We can help your company set up a system to acquire certified sustainability data from suppliers, and provide the analytic reporting needed to identify actions to improve product circularity and reduce costs.

SAP® Sustainability Footprint Management

SAP® Sustainability Data Exchange


Global average temperatures passed 1.5 degrees Celsius in 2024. Wildfires are becoming more frequent and more devastating. Net zero carbon emission goals are more important than ever. Achieving net zero requires carbon footprint data for everything that goes into operations and production, along with analytics to identify and mitigate the greatest greenhouse gas emission sources. Much of the data needed to automate the calculation of carbon footprints resides in ERP systems. Other data must come from the supply chain. Sierra SBC assists customers to locate needed data, automate the data collection and carbon calculations, and utilize embedded analytics to find key metrics that aid in decision-making.

We provide implementation services for SAP® Sustainability Footprint Management, helping your company onboard and configure this solution to quickly calculate the carbon footprint of each product. We also support SAP® Sustainability Data Exchange, which enables the exchange of scope 3 product footprint data with supply chain partners, increasing the accuracy of your product carbon footprints via the use of actual data rather than estimates.
